SLAP Adventures

We’re always up for an adventure…especially if it involves having fun with our SLAP teammates! Fitness and fun activities are the cherry on top! We’ve done workouts in the cool spring waters of Central Florida…kayaked the beautiful rivers…organized group bike rides to fun destinations…had open water swim training in the Gulf…organized 9-person relays…raced 8-miles around a lighthouse in the Keys…and so much more. Stay tuned for the next adventures with the #SLAPPERS!
**Even better…if you have a SLAP TEAM ADVENTURE IDEA…contact us and we’ll work out the details!**

The Think Pink & Ride is an annual charity ride that starts from Winter Garden Wheel Works.
We encourage ALL #SLAPPERS to participate in the 10, 30 or 65 mile rides

Come join us for the 11th annual WGWW “Think Pink” breast cancer cycling event. October 9th 2021. All proceeds go directly to help those affected by this horrible disease. There are three supported rides: 10, 30 and 65 miles. An awesome event tec-t is included with registration for all that ride.

This event will be capped at 500

Coffee before and Lunch afterwards.

This ride was founded in honor of Jeanette Jones, the mother of Dennis Jones (owner of Winter Garden Wheel Works), who passed away from breast cancer. We wanted to do our part in helping the community and began this ride in 2011. 100% of the proceeds go to Moffitt Cancer Center. You may donate directly to Moffitt Cancer Center. We ask that you please make donations in honor of Jeanette Jones, thank you.
